Shaun Sutherland

is a multimedia artist and Computer Graphics Senior at Springfield College. With a lifetime of experience in the traditional arts, especially drawing and more recently painting, Shaun has the artistic knowledge and ability to design websites that are not only aesthetically appealing, but also have clean and concise code for smooth functionality.

Since an early age, Shaun has been able to reproduce any image or scene placed in front of him with just the aid of a No.2 pencil. This great attention to detail of shape, size and value has made his work stand out amongst his peers since age five. At the age of nine, Shaun took drawing lessons for two years but left after finding them restrictive of his artistic desires. Expanding his subject matter to figure drawing by high school, he displayed a natural talent to capture the resemblances of his fellow students and the environment around him. By college, Shaun broadened his media to charcoal, acrylic paints, and sculpture of mixed media. With the evolution of computers and the internet, Shaun then applied his eye for design to graphic design and website development. Today he continues to work in all these media and is always looking for a new opportunity to exhibit his craft. So...
